1. Definitions
“JD3” refers to JD3, the supplier and manufacturer of bespoke signage products.
“Customer” refers to the person, firm, company, or organisation purchasing goods and/or services from JD3.
“Goods” means any products, including custom signage, manufactured and/or supplied by JD3 under this agreement.
“Services” refers to any additional services provided by JD3, including but not limited to installation and delivery.
2. Orders and Specifications
All orders for bespoke products must be confirmed by accepting our online Order Acceptance.
Upon signing the online Order Acceptance, the Customer confirms the design, materials, dimensions, and specifications. No further changes can be made without written agreement and such changes may be subject to additional charges and revised production timelines.
JD3 reserves the right to reject any order that may infringe third-party rights or contains offensive or unlawful content.
3. Customer Responsibilities
Measurements and Accuracy:
It is the sole responsibility of the Customer to ensure that all measurements, dimensions, and specifications provided to JD3 -and subsequently included in a quotation, design approval, order form or invoice by JD3 are accurate and correct.
JD3 shall not be liable for errors arising from incorrect or incomplete information supplied by the Customer.
Once an order enters production, no modifications can be made to size, design, or materials. Any changes requested after this point may require a new order and may incur additional costs.
It is the Customer's responsibility to ensure they have all the necessary authorisation and/or permissions for JD3 to include or reproduce any copyrighted material in any form.
The Customer must ensure all spelling and details are correct, ensure the size and positioning of any text/graphics are suitable, and inform JD3 of any differences in typography, logo, or graphics appearance.
Pricing and Payment
All prices quoted are exclusive of VAT, shipping, customs duties, and installation charges unless expressly stated otherwise.
- Non-Account Customers: Pre-payment is required prior to production. Once the Order Acceptance is completed, a payment link will be provided or you can pay via bank transfer.
- Account Customers: The online Order Acceptance is all we require to enter into production. Your invoice will be raised and applied to your account on acceptance. Invoices will fall due as per your agreed account terms, from the production date, not from the date of delivery.
- Wholesale/Volume Production: We require a 50% deposit prior to production of all multi-sign orders of 10 units and above, with the balance due on the final shipping date of your order.
JD3 reserves the right to withhold delivery or installation of Goods pending full payment.
Title to the Goods shall not pass to the Customer until payment for the order has been received in full by JD3.
4. Production, Delivery, and International Shipping
Estimated production times are provided in good faith but are not guaranteed. JD3 is not liable for delays due to factors beyond its reasonable control.
Goods will be delivered to the address specified by the Customer. Risk in the Goods passes to the Customer upon delivery. We use fully insured, tracked, and where possible, carbon-neutral couriers to deliver both within the UK and internationally. Any delivery times quoted by the courier are not guaranteed, and JD3 is not liable for any delays to delivery once the goods are in transit.

b.JD3 will provide required documentation to assist with customs clearance but accepts no liability for delays or additional costs due to border or regulatory issues.

5. Installation
JD3 is a manufacturer, and unless expressly stated, all quotations and invoices are for supply only to the delivery address provided. Installation Services are not included and will be quoted separately if requested.
If installation is requested and agreed, JD3 will provide a separate installation quote and schedule and subject to the following:

a.The Customer must ensure the site is accessible, safe, and prepared for installation as agreed in advance.

b.JD3 reserves the right to charge additional fees for delays caused by inadequate site readiness.
- c.JD3 are not certified electricians and are not authorised to connect directly into live electrical systems. It is the Customer’s responsibility to engage a qualified electrician to complete any final electrical connections and to certify the installation in accordance with applicable safety regulations.

JD3 is not responsible for damages resulting from installations performed by third parties not approved or commissioned by JD3.
6. Electrical Works
All 'Wire-In' power supplies are recommended to be installed by a qualified professional to ensure safety and compliance with electrical regulations.
7. Returns, Cancellations & Refunds
As all JD3 products are made to order, returns are not accepted unless the Goods are materially defective or not in accordance with the agreed specification.
Orders may only be cancelled prior to the commencement of production. Any cancellation must be made in writing and may incur a cancellation fee reflecting work and materials committed to date.
Refunds will not be given for completed bespoke Goods unless JD3 is in breach of contract.
8. Warranty and Liability
JD3 warrants that Goods will be free from material defects in workmanship and materials for a period of 12 months from the date of delivery or installation (whichever is later).
We offer a free extended warranty increased to 24 months for signs that are registered via our online warranty portal with a photograph of the installation.
This warranty does not cover:
- Damage caused by improper handling, installation, or use.
- Wear and tear or damage caused by vandalism or power faults not caused by JD3.
Damage caused by external elements — including weather, moisture, or water ingress — is not covered under warranty for any JD3 product range or variant, except those specifically marked as part of our 'External' line. All signs not marked External are for internal use only.
JD3’s liability is limited to repair or replacement of the defective product or, at its discretion, a refund up to the original purchase price.
JD3 shall not be liable for any indirect, consequential, or financial losses incurred by the Customer.
9. Intellectual Property
JD3 retains ownership of all design concepts, drawings, and intellectual property created during the quotation and production process unless otherwise agreed in writing.
The Customer warrants that any content or designs provided do not infringe third-party rights and agrees to indemnify JD3 against any claims arising therefrom.
10. Force Majeure
JD3 shall not be liable for failure or delay in performing its obligations due to events beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, labour disputes, or transport disruptions.
11. Governing Law
These terms and conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.
