ALL of our Neon Signs are made with premium materials. We use 10mm thick Green Cast Acrylic, which is ultra-clear and ultra-strong (if you choose black or white acrylic options, the acrylic won't be clear! But it will still be made from Green Cast.) Green Cast is made using 100% non-virgin materials and recycled acrylic.

Our Neon Signs are incredibly bright. A single sign can easily illuminate a whole room. If you're looking for maximum impact, such as for a point-of-sale display or venue signage, these lights are perfect without any dimming.

However, if you plan to keep the lights on while you sleep or relax, we'd suggest getting a dimmer remote control. That way, you can adjust the brightness to a more relaxing level as you want.

The desired brightness of your Neon Sign depends on where and why you're getting it. If you want to make a bold statement or grab attention, most of our customers who purchase them for venues and shops run their neon signs at full brightness during opening hours.

However, if you're looking to use one of our Neon Signs in a home or a low-light setting like a romantic restaurant, you'll definitely want one of our optional remote dimmer controllers. That way, you can have full control over the ambiance your neon sign creates.

We are a company based in the UK, but we ship our signs worldwide. Unless you specify otherwise when placing your order, the signs will come with a standard UK plug.

If you're an international customer, we'll send you the appropriate power cable for your country.

Our signs come with a standard 2-metre clear cable that runs from the bottom centre of the sign. They also have a 2-metre black power cable that connects to the power adapter.

If you need a custom length or longer cable, please let us know when placing your order. We can create bespoke cabling to meet your specific requirements.

We don't charge extra for coloured silicone over our coloured LEDs. This is our standard practice.

There may be times when you want to keep the colour a secret, e.g. for a baby shower reveal sign. In those cases, we recommend using white silicone so nothing is given away until the Neon Sign is powered on.

We also only use white silicone on external neon signs. This helps avoid UV damage that can cause discolouration in coloured silicone over time.

We're a market leader when it comes to engraved signs. Our products range from simple lined engravings to more elaborate filled, laser-cut designs. You can see some examples of our work in our gallery. Our engraved signs are truly one-of-a-kind.

We specialise in MagiColour, which is a custom-made mode of intelligent, RGB LED lights designed for and developed by JD3.

These LEDs are designed to our specifications and come with a remote dimmer control as a standard.

Additionally, the MagiColour signs are fully reactive to music and can be programmed using a smartphone.

Our signs are designed for indoor use or for use under cover outdoors, like in a marquee at a wedding.

We can make fully waterproof neon signs, but this is a custom process. You'll need to contact us to discuss your specific requirements so we can advise you on the best way to make your sign to ensure it can withstand even the most extreme outdoor weather conditions.

We've made Neon Signs that serve as full shop external signage, exposed to the wild Welsh weather 24/7 and have even had a Neon Sign inside an Aquarium!

Each and every sign is made with 10mm thick 100% Recycled Green Cast Acrylic, whether it's Clear, Black or White you choose.

No, we offer Black & White as well as Clear. All made from Green Cast 100% Recycled Acylic.

We don't use cheap or flimsy materials. Our signs are made with high-quality, durable substrates, not cheap acrylics. And you won't find any stickers or magnets holding up our signs - we believe in providing a clean, professional look that is safe.

Each sign comes with everything you need to install it easily.

You'll get 25mm aluminum stand-offs, wall plugs, and screws, plus a laser-cut fitting template. This makes putting the sign on a flat wall a breeze.

Installing one of our standard 1m Neon Signs takes about 15 minutes. Here's what you'll need:

- A power drill with a 5mm drill bit that's suitable for the wall you're mounting it to

- A Phillips screwdriver or screwdriver bit for your drill

- A spirit level

- A pencil or marker

With these basic tools, you can have your new sign up and looking great in no time.

The lifespan of your sign largely depends on how well you take care of it. If you handle it carefully, use it responsibly at events, and ensure it has a consistent power supply, it will last much longer.

On the other hand, power surges, rough handling, or getting it wet (if it's not waterproof) will naturally decrease its lifetime.

Our LED strips are tested and rated to last 20,000+ hours. That's 833 days of continuous, 24/7 use. If you use it on average of 8 hours per day, that's over 6 years of reliable performance!

The key is to treat your sign with care and provide it with the right conditions for a long, trouble-free life.

Electrical circuits can generate some warmth, and you might feel a slight warmth if you touch a Neon Sign that's been on for a while. However, they won't get anywhere near as hot as old-fashioned light bulbs. Neon Signs won't burn you or feel uncomfortable to the touch.

In fact, the majority of Neon Signs won't feel warm at all. They won't output any noticeable warmth or affect the temperature of a room.

There's no practical reason why you can't keep your sign on 24/7. If your business operates around the clock or you have a need for a constantly lit sign, many of our customers in similar situations choose to run their Neon Signs permanently on.

However, if you have closing hours or won't be home, we'd recommend turning the sign off for environmental reasons.

If you want your neon sign made from a single piece of acrylic, the maximum width is 300 cm. However, if you need a larger display, we can create a tiled setup of multiple panels to accommodate your desired size, with no limit on the overall dimensions.

Yes. We can provide a 12V battery power pack as an optional extra for use at events or on the go. We recommend getting some rechargeable AA batteries so you can recharge them sustainably.

Unfortunately, due to shipping restrictions, we don't offer rechargeable battery packs directly. Many countries don't allow these to be imported or sent by air freight.

We'd be happy to design a custom piece for you. Just let us know the details. Do you have a specific size in mind? We can create a single panel up to 3 meters by 2 meters, or we can make a tiled Neon Sign for larger spaces like exhibitions or venues.

We're based in Bridgend, South Wales in the UK. Every part of your sign - from the design to the manufacturing, packaging and despatch - will be handled in-house at our studio. This ensures quality control and a seamless process for you.

We also work with local companies whenever possible. This includes our acrylic supplier, packaging provider through to our coffee supplier, and uniform manufacturer! We're proud to support businesses in our community and keep our carbon footprint to a minimum.

Absolutely! We don't buy in or resell any sign product. Every sign we sell is designed, developed, manufactured, assembled and shipped from our own studios in Wales, UK.

We also don't make signs for any other neon sign companies.

We rely solely on DHL for all our domestic, import, and export logistics needs. JD3 is a member of DHL's GoGreen+ initiative, and any air freight imports or exports we handle are carbon neutral.

Yes. We always insure your delivery to the value of your sign with DHL, in the very rare case something happens to damage it in transit.

For example, any off-cuts from our sheet material manufacturing process are always collected, sorted, and recycled back through our supply chain to the source manufacturer. This is done on the return journeys from our supplier deliveries. This further reduces the carbon footprint involved in the recycling process.

Our packaging is made from recycled materials and is fully recyclable. Even the paper and stickers we use are 100% recycled stock, uncoated and recyclable.

Our acrylic can be recycled and turned back into the raw materials needed to make new acrylic. However, this is a specialised process, and unfortunately, most council-run recycling centers don't have the facilities to handle it yet.

We'll recycle any Neon Sign that we've made for you, free of charge, at our studios.

We can't accept returns on custom-made Bespoke Neon Signs. These signs are made just for you, so we can't resell them.

Before we make your sign, we'll show you a detailed visual proof. This will include the exact measurements of the final sign, so you can be confident you're getting exactly what you ordered.

Your refund will always go back to the same way you paid. If you paid by bank transfer, the refund will go back to the same bank account. If you paid by card, the refund will be processed by our payment provider and sent back to the same card you used.

All our internal and external products come with a 12-month warranty. In the unlikely event of an electrical fault, we've got you covered. If we can't fix any electrical issue caused by a defective LED strip or power supply, we'll replace your sign with a brand new one.

It depends on what is broken! If your sign doesn't turn on, or the LED strips have got damp on an internal sign, then yes, we can fix it.

If you've broken the acrylic sign itself, then usually, this is not fixable and would require a new acrylic piece to be made. It's more cost effective to order a new one and we'll recycle your old broken one for you.
