Sustainable Packaging

One of the main things that makes our packaging solution special is that every product is manufactured from recycled materials. We know that traditional packaging often uses materials that can't be reused, which is bad for the environment. By only using recycled stuff, we're not only reducing the need for new raw materials, but also keeping waste out of landfills.

To make sure each JD3 product gets the perfect sustainable packaging, we use advanced laser cutting machines. These high-tech tools allow us to make custom packaging designs with incredible precision. That means every single piece of the packaging is tailored exactly to the size and specs of your order, minimising waste, and only ever sending the package out via our GoGreen+ courier, DHL without wasted cargo space or void packaging.

Below is a guide to each step of our packaging from laser cutting to fully assembled.

Our Sustainable Packaging

This is a visual guide to how we make bespoke packaging entirely from recycled source materials. Our goal is to ensure your order arrives safely, in style, and with minimal impact on the environment.
Step 1

We laser CNC your outer packaging

We take the dimensions of your sign, and to save materials, we also laser cut your wall fitting template into the back of the box (make sure you keep this for use during installation!). This allows the packaging to be made perfectly for your order, with all the necessary items included without wasting any space and keeping protective materials to the essential amount without wastage.
Step 2

Box Assembly & Corner Reinforcement

To prevent your box from bending or getting damaged by other packages during shipping, we reinforce the box. We assemble the box and insert solid board corners into the base. This keeps the box rigid and stops it from easily bending, which could potentially damage your order.
Step 3

Shock Asborbers

We'll install shock absorbers into the box to protect your order. If your sign isn't a standard shape like a circle or rectangle - for example, if it's a custom-cut neon sign - we'll safeguard each contact point with these shock absorbers.
Step 4

We wrap up your order

We package your sign in eco-friendly, biodegradable bubble wrap. We also include all the necessary kits, power supplies, and any other accessories you ordered, and place them all neatly in the box.
Step 5

We secure your package and prepare it for shipping

Once your order is safely packaged, we'll seal the box with our recycled brand tape. We'll also add one of our logo stickers to the box. Both the tape and stickers are 100% recyclable and don't contain any plastic. If your order is being shipped, it will be collected by DHL and shipped via their GoGreen+ service, fully insured & tracked.
